Come join the Lab Rascals for some STEM fun this Juneteenth (Saturday, June 19, 2021! We are exploring Melanin and DNA! Note: If your children are not aware of slavery, we will touch on the fact that people with more melanin were enslaved in America and the last enslaved people were freed on June 19, 1865. Our lesson is focused more on melanin and DNA but we will discuss the history of Juneteenth.
